Grenada offers lush forests, mountains, beaches, numerous anchorages, and is considered to be outside the hurricane season so you can visit any time of the year. Special times to visit: · Carnival in Grenada is one of the largest in the Caribbean. The festivities include weeks of entertainment include singing, dancing, costumes, parades, and lots of food. This Carnival is one of our favourites! Excellent entertainment to suit all tastes—calypso, soca, reggae, and steel drum music. Don’t miss it! |

A unique combination of cultures—French, Dutch, and West Indies on one small island—makes St. Martin and Sint Maarten an interesting destination. French cheese, wine, food, and shopping direct from France combines with the Netherland Antilles. Lots of beaches to explore. It’s only a short sail to St. Barts. Special times to visit: · Carnival takes place on the French side in March and mid-April on the Dutch side. Combine your trip with a fascinating cultural and musical event. · The biggest sail in the Caribbean is the famous Heineken Regatta which takes place in March. While Dream Maker doesn’t race herself, you can go as crew on the racing boats or just take part in the parties and festivities. |
